The NPCSD Foundation for Student Enhancement is proud to offer microgrants for student research and creative projects at New Paltz High School. Students may request up to $200 towards individual research projects supervised by a NPHS teacher. Applications will be reviewed in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.

All completed applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified no later than November 21, 2025.

New Paltz High School student (9–12 grade)
Requires a teacher supervisor
One application per year per student
What is fundable?
- Disposable supplies
- Travel Expenses
- Workshop or Conference Fees
- Subscription Fees
- Non-disposable supplies and equipment (become the property of the New Paltz School District when the research is complete)
Guidelines:
- Students can request up to $200.
- Students must complete a W-9 form prior to receiving the funds.
- The work must be completed during the academic school year.
- We will not reimburse for purchases made prior to award notification.
- Applications must be complete and include the teacher supervisor form.
- Students must provide high-res images of the completed project with a short description of project accomplishments
- Any projects not completed or funds not completed use must be returned to The Foundation.
