Lenape Post Office (Lenape—Melissa Feldmann)
An in-house postal service will be created for spontaneous communication between friends, teachers, and personnel within the school building. Hallways will be positively named and each room will have its own mailbox with the room number on it. Students will have the opportunity to take on postal jobs if desired, which will include mail delivery with an “official” mail bag. The project is designed to strengthen writing and communication skills between peers and teachers, which will ideally create an environment where students will feel safe sharing their opinions and feelings.
