Fall 2016

• Digital Drawing (Jen Cone—High School); Students in the Computer Graphics, Computer Art, 3D Studio Modeling, and Video Editing classes will become proficient using the Wacom Intuos Digital Pen. The pen simulates the natural movements of the hand to allow use of digital design tools more effectively. The pen will also strengthen technology skills while exposing students to industry standards.

Spring 2016

• Solar-Powered Robots (Suzan Brassard, Alexis Mallory—High School):Students in the Drawing and Design Production classes researched alternative energy sources and built solar-powered Robots using OWI Solar-Powered Robot Kits. Students then used computer-assisted design software to plan their own robots, ultimately building the self-designed prototypes with recycled materials.
